I have worked with teachers in PreK-12th grade classrooms. I am certified to teach secondary math (6th-12th grade) and have experience teaching in the middle school classroom and experience coaching in K-8 classrooms. I am a former K-8 district math coordinator and I currently teach preservice teachers at the college level.

While most districts I support are in the Chicagoland area, I have traveled to other states to provide professional development or coaching. For farther distances, there might be a cost to cover travel expenses in addition to the daily consulting rate.

I charge a rate based on a day or half day of work. The rate includes the day-of services as well as any preplanning Zoom meetings, preparation of materials or slides, and debrief communications.

I can do professional development sessions on a variety of math topics. I also offer teacher coaching, coaching for instructional coaches, leadership development, or committee support. I also can be hired as a featured speaker or keynote.

My portfolio of session topics is ever evolving and I often make custom sessions based on the needs of my clients. We can meet to discuss possible topics and select the content best for your needs.

I have supported districts using most of the top used high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) and curriculum resources. I have also supported 30+ districts with selecting materials or doing a math curriculum review.

I stay informed on the latest research on best practices for math instruction. I refer to the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Effective Teaching Practices to inform my coaching.
